Assets (Resources → Assets / assets.php) maintains inventory with assignment and status.

Add an asset
Click Add — enter asset name, type (Hardware/Software/Furniture/Vehicle/Other), serial number, location, optional image.

Assign to employee
Set Lent To field to employee name when issuing equipment. Status defaults to Working.

Update on return
Clear Lent To when asset returned. Change Status to Not Working if repair needed.

Employee view
Employees see assets currently lent to them under Employee Assets on their portal.
